When facing a problem by ANY name: sickness, disease, pain, infirmity (there is a difference), a job situation, a demonic presence, etc.; we need to fully grasp the truth that Jesus has been HIGHLY exalted (as in no contest or comparison) above every other name or entity in heaven, earth or under the earth. Jesus has been given ALL authority and since we are one with Him and His “joint-heirs”, meaning sharing equally in all that is His; we share in His authority as we remain submitted to His authority. Whatever you are facing, rest assured that Jesus is far superior to it, and is in a position of authority over it. Now, guess what! Since you are His joint-heir, what does that mean? If you are not sure, allow me to help: it means YOU are all those things as well! Read the following scriptures over and over until the truth sets in and sets you free, you awesome joint-heir!
“19And what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us, which believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and domination, and every Name, that is named, not in this world only, but also in that that is to come, 22 And hath made all things subject under his feet, and hath given him over all things to be the head to the Church, 23 Which is his body, even the fullness of him that filleth all in all things.
Ephesians 1:19-23 (1599 Geneva Bible)
“Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth…”
Philippians 2:9-10 (NKJV)
And Yeshua spoke with them and he said to them, “All authority has been given to me in Heaven and in the earth; in the manner in which my Father has sent me,
I am sending you.”
Matthew 28:18 (Aramaic Bible in Plain English)
“Now if we are children, then we are heirs–heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.”
(Romans 8:17 NIV)
Father, thank You for making us all sons and daughters of Yours, ones that equally share a position of being one with You and Jesus: Seated in Christ in heavenly places, having the authority that Adam lost in the garden restored to us, and more. Open the eyes of all those who read this to reveal to them who they are in Your eyes, in Jesus’ name.
