Life has a tendency to beat us up at times. Sometimes our own poor choices leave us damaged. Sometimes it’s the poor choices of others that leave us damaged or broken. When you feel damaged, broken, and worthless, remember – that is not how God sees you. He sees your true worth and value. He sees the masterpiece He created. Your poor choices and the poor choices of others do not diminish God’s love for you, nor do they diminish the value that the King of Creation places on you. No one is ever damaged or broken beyond the restoring power of Jesus. God’s love for you is unconditional and unending. Place yourself in the hands of The Restorer, because He is able and willing to restore you today.
“But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace,
expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.”
Ephesians 2:4-7 (NIV)
“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you…And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.”
1 Peter 5:6-7,10 (NIV)
“When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross.”
Colossians 2:13-14 (NIV)
Heavenly Father, I thank You that we can come to You no matter what condition we are in, and when we are broken, or our hearts are broken, You can put the pieces back together. You make us and our hearts like new – no matter how many times we, or our hearts, break. Thank You for Your love and tender mercy. I give You the broken pieces and ask You to restore me once again. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
