A really close friend goes to an electronics store and buys a very expensive package deal. It not only has a huge 65” TV, but everything else as well – from the speakers and cables, to the remote and batteries. He left nothing out of the package. He let them know he would pay for it, but his friend would be coming to pick it up. Then this friend tells you what he did, he gives you the receipt and tells you to go pick it up. When you ask him where he wants you to deliver it, he tells you he didn’t buy it for himself, but for you! Wow! What a friend! You go down with the receipt and show them it and the first person you talk to tells you they are not going to give it to you. Now if it were a .75 candy bar at a grocery store, you might be willing to forget it, but a $5,000 TV system, you become assertive really quick demanding the manager, and telling them you are not leaving without your stuff!
Well, Jesus, your Friend and Lord made a purchase for you. He paid a huge price for this package and He didn’t leave anything out. This healing package covers everything from aches, pains, and headaches, to blind eyes, deaf ears, and cancer. He also gave you the receipt:
“In fact, it was our diseases he bore, our pains from which he suffered; yet we regarded him as punished, stricken and afflicted by God. But he was wounded because of our crimes, crushed because of our sins; the disciplining that makes us whole fell on him, and by his bruises we are healed.” Isaiah 53:4-5 (CJB)
“He personally bore our sins in His [own] body on the tree [as on an altar and offered Himself on it], that we might die (cease to exist) to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed.” 1 Peter 2:24 (Amp)
We no longer need to ask God to heal us – He already bought and paid for it. Armed with our receipt, we now need to obtain, through aggressive actions if need be, what belongs to us. Every effort to keep it from us is illegal, we have a legal right and the authority to receive ALL Jesus paid for.
Father, I thank You for healing me. I boldly say this healing belongs to me, because of what Jesus has done. I receive my healing now in Jesus’ name.
